Getting started

Quick start

From your first conversation with our team to live operations is usually under a week. Here's what the process looks like end-to-end.

1. Sign up your business

Fill in the sign-up form on the home page with your company name, email, fleet size, and a brief message describing your operation.

You'll receive a reply within one business day with a short discovery call to discuss your specific workflow:

  • What do you deliver and how often?
  • How does dispatch work today (WhatsApp, spreadsheets, another tool)?
  • How many drivers and operators need access?
  • Any integrations with existing systems (POS, inventory, accounting)?

Based on that conversation, we configure a Courrex deployment tailored to your operation.

2. Operator account setup

Once your deployment is provisioned, your operators receive a welcome email with a secure link to set their password. They sign in at courrex.com/admin.

Tip: if your operator team is more than two people, set a shared inbox for the welcome emails so anyone can complete the password setup. Each operator still has a unique account in the dashboard.

3. Add your drivers

From the dashboard, navigate to Drivers and click Add driver. For each driver you'll enter:

  • Full name (shown to customers if you enable customer notifications)
  • Phone number (optional, for SMS-based fallback contact)
  • Zone or service area (optional)
  • Vehicle type (optional, used by the route optimizer)

Courrex assigns each driver a unique 6-digit login code. Share the code with your driver — they enter it in the app (or at courrex.com/driver) to sign in.

4. Create your first stops

Go to Stops in the dashboard and click New stop. Fill in the address, customer reference, and any metadata (order amount, payment method, time window, special instructions).

You can also bulk-import stops from a CSV file — useful when you receive a daily list from a 3PL or e-commerce platform. The expected columns are documented in the API reference.

5. Assign and dispatch

Drag-and-drop stops onto driver lanes, or use the Auto-optimize button to let Courrex distribute stops across drivers based on proximity, current traffic, and driver capacity.

When you're happy with the assignment, click Dispatch. The relevant routes appear on each driver's app immediately.

6. Driver workflow

Drivers see their assigned stops in order, with ETAs calculated from current location and traffic. They tap Start driving when they head out, and Mark delivered at each stop (with optional photo proof).

Their live position appears on the operator dashboard map for the duration of the route. Once they finish all stops or sign out, location sharing stops automatically.
